St. Paul Academy can still go back to back.Rusheek Kolan and Rowan McLean scored in the first half and the defending Class A boys soccer champion beat Washington 2-1 in a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday.With the win at a wet Irondale High School, the third-seeded Spartans will face No. 2 seed Holy Family in a Nov. 1 semifinal. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State lawmakers have introduced a bill meant to restrict drone use around schools. The bill would ban anyone from operating a drone over school grounds without first getting permission from school administrators.It was introduced in response to concerns from the Bethlehem Central School District after a real estate company flew a drone over three of its schools earlier in the month. The use of drones in aerial photography without authorization is an invasion of that privacy," Bethlehem Superintendent Jody Monroe said. Crash-and-grab freeway robbery suspects still at large

After a brazen and dangerous broad daylight robbery on a freeway in Los Angeles was captured on camera earlier this week, everyone from the chief of police to local radio personalities is speaking out about the violent attack.  The incident unfolded Tuesday afternoon on the shoulder of the eastbound 10 Freeway just west of Arlington Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Dodge Caravan deliberately crashed into a black Alfa Romeo sedan. 3 suspects on the loose after shooting in Toluca Lake

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department are searching for suspects after a shooting Thursday afternoon in Toluca Lake that injured at least one person, authorities confirmed to KTLA. Calls about the incident in the 4600 block of Cahuenga Boulevard, just north of the 134 Freeway, came in at around 5:20 p.m., LAPD said. Details are limited and it’s unclear what led to the shooting, but at least one victim at the scene was taken to the hospital in unknown condition by paramedics with the L.A. Fire Department. Aerial footage captured by Sky5 showed a heavy police presence outside the Toluca Lofts, a large apartment complex on Cahuenga.
